The emperor's effigy is rendered in the late Roman provincial style characteristic of the Alexandrian mint. The Greek legend ΔΙΟΚΛΗΤΙΑΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ (Diocletianus Sebastos) runs around the periphery of the flan. |
