| Obverse description | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Constantius I (Caesar) facing right, depicted in three-quarter view from the front, with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the late Roman provincial style characteristic of the Alexandrian mint. The encircling Greek legend reads ΦΛΑ ΚωΝϹΤΑΝΤΙΟϹ Κ, identifying the subject as Flavius Constantius in his rank of Caesar. The coin is bordered by a beaded or dotted inner circle. |
