Obverse description Draped bust of Empress Sabina facing right, diademed, with hair elaborately arranged and falling in a long plait down the neck, a characteristic coiffure of the Hadrianic period. The portrait is rendered in the refined Greco-Roman provincial style, with fine facial features and detailed drapery visible at the shoulder. The encircling Greek legend ϹΑΒΕΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ ('Sabina Augusta') runs around the bust within a plain border.
