Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Vespasian facing right, with draped shoulder, rendered in the naturalistic portrait style characteristic of Flavian imperial coinage. The effigy displays the emperor's distinctive mature features with a broad forehead and close-cropped hair surmounted by a laurel wreath. The surrounding legend runs clockwise in Latin capital letters within the beaded border of the flan.

Reverse description Ceres, the goddess of grain and harvest, enthroned left on an ornate high-backed chair, wearing a diadem and draped robes. In her extended right hand she holds corn-ears and a poppy, while her left arm rests upon a cornucopia. A six-pointed star appears in the exergue beneath the throne. The legend CONCORDIA AVG arcs across the upper field, the whole design enclosed within a beaded border.
