Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Vespasian facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair and laurel wreath. The emperor's portrait displays characteristic Flavian realism with strong, heavy features. The encircling legend reads IMP CAESAR VESPAS AVG COS II TR P P P in Latin capitals, distributed around the full circumference of the flan.

Reverse description Ceres, goddess of agriculture, seated left on a throne with ornate legs, her figure draped in flowing robes. In her extended right hand she holds corn-ears and a poppy, while her left arm rests upon a cornucopia, symbolising abundance and imperial concord. The legend CONCORDIA AVG flanks the central figure, with the Greek mintmark ΦΥ visible in the exergue, attributing the issue to the Ephesian mint.
