Additional information

Rajuvula is among the more consequential of the Northern Satraps, having consolidated Indo-Scythian control over the Punjab and Mathura region during a period when the Indo-Greek kingdoms were in terminal decline. His coinage is notably transitional — struck on the reduced drachm standard that replaced earlier, heavier Indo-Greek weights as Scythian rulers adapted local monetary conventions to their own administrative needs.

The Jammu attribution ties this piece to a specific regional circulation zone distinct from the Mathura issues, where Rajuvula later extended his authority after displacing the last Indo-Greek holdouts.
