Obverse description Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Tetricus I facing right, wearing a radiate crown. The imperial effigy is rendered in the late Roman provincial style characteristic of Gallic Empire coinage, with somewhat crude but expressive engraving. The encircling legend reads IMP G TETRICVS P F AVG, distributed around the periphery of the flan.

Reverse description The personification of Pax (Peace) stands facing left in full figure, her right hand extending an olive branch and her left hand holding a long transverse sceptre. A star appears in the left field and the letter V in the right field, serving as mint or officina marks. The reverse legend PAX AVG encircles the type, with the field marks * and V positioned to either side of the standing figure.
