| Obverse description | Radiate bust of Tetricus I facing right, rendered in the crude, schematic style characteristic of barbarous imitations. The radiate crown is clumsily executed, with the spikes partially merged or irregularly spaced. The facial features are highly stylized and bear little resemblance to official Gallic Empire portraiture. No legible legend is present, the peripheral inscription being reduced to meaningless pseudo-epigraphic strokes or entirely absent. |
