| Obverse description | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Quietus facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of the Samosata mint. The emperor is depicted with a radiate crown atop his head, the paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The encircling Latin legend reads IMP C FVL QVIETVS P F AVG, distributed around the bust in the field. The portrait exhibits the somewhat coarser engraving typical of eastern mint production during the crisis period of the third century. |
