| Obverse description | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Macrianus Minor facing right, rendered in the provincial Antiochene style characteristic of the mid-third century. The radiate crown, composed of pointed rays, surmounts the emperor's head and identifies the denomination as an antoninianus. The drapery and cuirass are summarily detailed, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The encircling Latin legend reads IMP C FVL MACRIANVS P F AVG, disposed around the bust within a beaded border. |
