Reverse description Jupiter depicted standing facing left, nude but for a chlamys draped over his left shoulder and arm, holding a thunderbolt in his right hand and a long scepter in his left. The figure conveys divine authority in the classical tradition, serving to legitimate the emperors' rule through association with the king of the gods. The legend IOVI AVGG encircles the field, and a mintmark appears in the exergue (P or A), with additional officina marks divided in the field. A beaded border frames the entire reverse design.
