| Obverse description | Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Carausius facing right, wearing a radiate crown with pronounced spikes, the paludamentum draped across the left shoulder with folds rendered in relief. The effigy displays a bearded portrait with strong facial features characteristic of late third-century Roman portraiture. The encircling Latin legend runs clockwise around the dotted beaded border. |
