| Obverse description | Radiate, cuirassed bust of Allectus facing right, depicted with the characteristic spiky radiate crown of the antoninianus denomination. The emperor is shown in military dress with visible pauldron and scale armour, rendered in the robust late Roman provincial style typical of the Camulodunum mint. The encircling legend reads IMP C ALLECTVS P F AVG, distributed around the bust within a beaded border. The flan is irregular and the relief, though worn, preserves clear portrait features and titulature. |
