| Obverse description | Laureate head of Zeus facing right, rendered with bold sculptural quality typical of late Hellenistic Phrygian bronze coinage. The deity is depicted with a full, flowing beard rendered in deep relief with individualised curling locks, and long wavy hair cascading behind the neck. The laurel wreath is clearly articulated across the brow. The facial features are strongly modelled, conveying divine majesty, with a prominent nose and deeply set eye. No legend appears on the obverse. |

| Reverse description | Cult statue of Artemis Anaïtis standing facing, shown frontally in the rigid, xoanon-like style characteristic of the goddess's syncretistic form worshipped at Apameia in Phrygia. The figure is veiled and heavily draped, with the arms held outward and slightly bent at the elbows, flanked on either side by tall torches or sceptres. The Greek legend is distributed in three lines around the field: ΑΠΑΜΕ to the right, ΑΝΔΡΟΝΙ to the left, and ΑΛΚΙΟΥ below or across the lower field, identifying the civic magistrate Andronikos, son of Alkion, responsible for the issue. |
