Reverse description The reverse bears a four-line Cyrillic inscription in bold relief, reading the date and denomination, entirely contained within an encircling wreath of laurel or oak branches. The uppermost line displays the Old Church Slavonic date numerals '҂ЯΨД' (1704), followed by 'ЯЛТЫ НЪ' (Altyn) and 'БК' (mintmaster initials) on the final line. The lettering is in the archaic Cyrillic script typical of early Petrine-era coinage, with a Slavonic titlo mark visible above the date numerals. No effigy or other pictorial device appears on this face.
