Obverse description Central field dominated by the Gediminas Columns (Pillars of Gediminas) counterstamp, applied as a punched countermark directly onto the host coin's surface. The dynastic symbol of the Lithuanian Gediminid dynasty appears in relief within the stamp impression, surrounded by the irregular flan of the original hammered coin. The counterstamp authenticates and revalues the host coin under the authority of Prince Švitrigaila.
