| Reverse description | Three lines of Arabic script filling the central field, recording the mint name Misr (Egypt) and the regnal year of Sultan Murad IV. The inscription is arranged horizontally across the flan in the conventional Ottoman akçe format, with the date and mint name occupying separate registers. Marginal text runs along the outer edge of the irregular flan. The strike is typical of hammered Ottoman provincial coinage, with letters in bold relief and slight weakness at the flan edges. |
