Reverse description Within a plain inner circle, a multi-line Arabic legend occupies the field, recording the pious formula 'Azze Nasrühu' (May he be victorious), followed by the mint name and the accession year 1032 AH. The inscription is struck in bold relief in the angular Ottoman script characteristic of the period. A beaded border frames the legend along the coin's periphery, partially obscured by the irregular edge of the hand-struck flan. The overall execution is typical of provincial Ottoman hammered akçes of the early 17th century.
