| Obverse description | Central field bearing the royal tughra of Sultan Murad II rendered in bold, stylized Arabic calligraphy, executed in the characteristic hammered Ottoman style. The inscription is arranged within a circular border, with the flowing strokes of the tughra dominating the flan. The legend is set against a flat, unadorned field typical of early Ottoman akçe coinage. A dotted or beaded border frames the perimeter of the design. The strike is slightly off-center, consistent with hand-struck silver coinage of the period. |
