| Obverse description | Central field bearing the royal tughra-style Arabic legend of Sultan Mehmed II (Muhammad b. Murad Khan), arranged in multiple lines across the flan. The inscription, struck in relief on an unadorned field, reads the sultan's name and titles in bold, somewhat angular Naskh script. The irregular flan edge, characteristic of hammered Ottoman akçe coinage, is visible around the periphery. The die is well-centered though the strike shows slight weakness toward the margins, typical of this series. |

| Reverse description | Reverse field displays a multi-line Arabic inscription occupying the entire flan, giving the mint name Qostantiniye (Constantinople) and the AH date 875, arranged in two or three horizontal lines in Naskh script. The numeral ۸۷۵ (875 AH) is clearly legible along the lower portion of the flan. The plain, unornamented field and irregular hammered flan edge are consistent with standard Ottoman akçe production of the reign of Mehmed II. The strike is moderately bold with some softness at the coin's periphery. |
