Reverse description The reverse field displays a prominent stylised tamgha (dynastic emblem) of the Giray dynasty, rendered in bold relief at the centre of the irregular flan. The tamgha is framed by a rectangular linear border, with additional Arabic legends distributed in the surrounding field indicating the mint name Caffa and the regnal year in the Hijri calendar. The strike is characteristically uneven, with parts of the legend weak or partially off-flan, consistent with hammered production at the Caffa mint.
