| Obverse description | Central field bears the ruler's name and titles in Arabic script, arranged in multiple lines within a plain field. The inscription, typical of Crimean Khanate hammered coinage, is boldly struck though irregular in outline due to the hand-struck flan. The legends identify Islam III Giray as Khan, rendered in the traditional Islamic epigraphic style characteristic of this series. |
