Obverse description Central field dominated by an elaborate interlaced knot motif rendered in Arabic calligraphy, with the ruler's titulature disposed around the central design. The legend, written in cursive Arabic script, names the issuing prince and his lineage. A border of small pellets or dots encircles the entire design, typical of early Ottoman akçe coinage. The overall composition is characteristic of the hammered silver akçes of the Ottoman Interregnum period, with the inscription flowing organically around the central knot.
