Obverse description Irregular hammered silver flan bearing the Shahada in three lines of Arabic script within a plain circular border. The legend reads: 'La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad rasul Allah' (There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah). The script is executed in a bold, angular hand typical of Anatolian beylik coinage of the early to mid-eighth century AH. The field shows characteristic die-struck relief with natural surface granularity. A small suspension hole is visible at the upper rim, indicating later use as a pendant.
