| Obverse description | The obverse field is entirely occupied by a three-line Arabic legend in relief, executed in a cursive naskh-style script characteristic of Anatolian beylik coinage of the late 14th century. The inscription reads 'al-Sultan / Ala al-Dunya wa al-Din / Ali ibn Muhammad', presenting the ruler's full titulature and genealogical reference. The legends are set within an irregular, slightly scalloped border typical of hand-struck hammered silver of this period. The flan is broad but uneven, with some weakness at the periphery consistent with the striking technique. No figurative devices or additional ornamental elements are present. |
