Obverse description Broad, irregular copper flan with a heavily worn surface exhibiting characteristic hammered production. The lower portion of the field bears a crudely struck Arabic tughra or inscription in low relief, partially legible, occupying the central to lower zone of the die. The upper field is largely blank and heavily abraded, consistent with typical Ottoman provincial mangir coinage of the period. The irregular, scalloped rim reflects the hand-cut planchet preparation standard for hammered Egyptian Ottoman issues.

Reverse description Irregular flan with a centrally placed Arabic legend struck in low, somewhat flat relief across the middle field, partially legible due to pronounced wear and surface corrosion. The inscription, characteristic of Ottoman provincial hammered coinage, likely references the sultan's name or mint formula. The field above the inscription is largely plain and deeply worn, while traces of green cuprite patina are visible at the rim and in recessed areas of the design.
