Obverse description The Agnus Dei (Paschal Lamb) advances to the left within a beaded inner circle, nimbus surrounding its head, which is turned back to the right. A long cross-tipped staff bearing a banner is carried behind the lamb, with the ducal legend WEN DVX inscribed in the field beneath its feet. The inner circle is further embellished with decorative arcs forming a Gothic polylobe frame, all enclosed within the outer legend circle. The design follows the established French mouton d'or tradition adapted for the Duchy of Brabant under the joint rule of Joanna and Wenceslas.
