Obverse description Draped bust of the personified Roman Senate (Senatus) to right, wearing a wreath, depicted as a mature male figure with richly draped paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Lydian civic coinage of the Severan period. The circular Greek legend surrounds the bust within a dotted border.
