| Obverse description | Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the rear, conveying a pronounced sense of depth characteristic of provincial Greek coinage of the Severan period. The emperor's musculature is articulated through the cuirass, with paludamentum (military cloak) visible over the left shoulder. The Greek imperial titulature legend runs around the periphery of the flan, partially obscured by wear. |
