| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, seen from the rear, with paludamentum fastened at the shoulder and segmented cuirass visible at the chest. The emperor's portrait displays his characteristic youthful features with curled hair beneath the laurel wreath. The Greek imperial titulature legend runs around the periphery of the flan. The bust is rendered in the vigorous provincial style typical of Lesbos civic coinage under the Severan dynasty. |
