Obverse description Draped bust of Kore Soteira facing right, head encircled by a corn (grain) wreath and adorned with a necklace, the facial features assimilated to the portrait type of Faustina II. The legend ΚΟΡΗ ϹΩΤΕΙΡΑ ΚΥΖΙΚΗΝΩΝ is disposed around the periphery of the field. The portraiture reflects the Antonine-era tradition of conflating divine and imperial imagery, lending the deity a dynastic character in keeping with Cyzicus's honorific civic coinage.
