(Translation: Hostilius Marcellus, the priest of Antinous)
Reverse description Antinous, assimilated to Bellerophon, depicted nude and standing facing, with head turned to the left. A chlamys is draped over his extended left arm, which also bears a shield, while his right hand grasps the bridle of the winged horse Pegasus. The composition conveys heroic divine status through the mythological identification, consistent with the posthumous cult iconography promoted under Hadrian.
