Obverse description Draped bust of Faustina II facing right, rendered in high relief with carefully arranged hair swept back and coiled at the nape. The empress is shown with visible drapery folds at the shoulder. The Greek legend ΦΑΥϹΤΕΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ (Faustina Augusta) encircles the effigy within a beaded border. The portrait style is consistent with the court iconography of the Antonine period.
