Obverse description Confronted busts arranged in two pairs: at left, the radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Valerian I faces right, seen from the rear, confronting the laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing left, also seen from the rear; at right, the laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Valerian II faces right, seen from the rear, confronting the draped and diademed bust of Salonina facing left, her effigy resting on a crescent. The arrangement presents all four members of the imperial family in a single composition typical of Anatolian civic bronze coinage of the joint reign. The obverse legend in Greek encircles the busts, honoring the Augusti Valeriani, Gallienus, and Salonina.
