| Obverse description | Confronted busts: to the right, the draped bust of Julia Domna facing left, and to the left, the radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Septimius Severus facing right, seen from the rear. The two imperial effigies are presented face-to-face in the dynastic jugate style characteristic of provincial bronze coinage of the Severan period. The encircling legend names both rulers in Greek characters. |
