| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the front, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The portrait displays the characteristic youthful features of Caracalla in the early Severan period. A circular Greek legend surrounds the bust, running along the coin's periphery. The flan is broad and irregular, typical of provincial bronze coinage of Asia Minor. The surface retains a dark patina with areas of earthen deposits. |
