Reverse description Antinous depicted nude, standing to the left in a frontal pose within the field; the reverse type is heavily worn and the finer details of the composition are largely indistinct, though the figure appears to hold an attribute, possibly a staff or sceptre, in the right field. The inscription [ΚΟΡΙΝΘΙΟΙϹ ΑΝΕΘΗΚΕ] appears in the legend, recording the dedication to the Corinthians. The overall relief is flat and the surfaces show extensive corrosion consistent with prolonged burial.
