| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, portrayed three-quarter view from the rear, with curly hair beneath the laurel wreath and pauldron visible over the left shoulder. The effigy displays characteristic youthful features of Caracalla in his earlier imperial portraits, with finely rendered musculature on the cuirass. The circular Greek legend surrounds the bust, set within a dotted border. The overall style is consistent with the provincial bronze coinage of Asia Minor during the Severan period. |
