| Reverse description | A triad of syncretic deities arranged in a hieratic composition across the reverse field: at left, Isis stands facing with head turned right, holding a sistrum in her raised hand and a situla at her side; at center, Sarapis is enthroned facing, his right arm extended protectively over the three-headed Cerberus crouching at his feet, while his left hand holds a long sceptre; at right, Selene stands facing with head turned left, holding an uncertain object and a sceptre. The scene reflects the strong Isiac cult presence at Laodicea ad Lycum. The multi-line Greek legend around and across the field records the name of the local high priestess Aelia Pisonina and the city's neocorate status. |
