Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, with drapery visible on the left shoulder. The effigy displays the emperor's characteristic short beard and closely cropped hair beneath the laurel wreath, rendered in the naturalistic provincial style typical of the Mytilenean mint. The legend encircles the bust, running along the periphery of the flan. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, consistent with large provincial bronzes of the Hadrianic period.
