Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Elagabalus facing right, depicted from a three-quarter rear perspective, with the paludamentum fastened at the shoulder visible beneath the cuirass. The effigy is rendered in high relief against a plain field, with fine detail surviving in the laurel wreath and the layered military dress. The circular Greek legend runs along the periphery, bordered by a dotted beaded rim.
