| Obverse description | Confronted busts: laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Septimius Severus to right, seen from the rear, facing the draped bust of Julia Domna to left. The two imperial effigies are rendered in close proximity at center field, with the obverse legend distributed around the periphery in Greek characters. The portrait style reflects the provincial die-cutting tradition characteristic of Carian civic coinage under the Severan dynasty. |
