| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Lucius Verus facing left, viewed from the rear, with the emperor's characteristic full beard and richly curled hair rendered in high relief. The pauldron of the cuirass is visible at the truncation, conveying the imperial military persona.
