Reverse description Homonoia type depicting two civic divinities in confronting arrangement. At left, Zeus Laodiceus stands facing right, holding an eagle in his right hand and a long sceptre in his left. At right, the cult statue of Artemis Ephesia stands frontally, clad in the traditional encasing garment, wearing a turreted or temple-form headdress, and flanked by two stags at her sides. The reverse legend distributed across the field records the homonoia (civic concord) between the cities of Laodicea and Ephesus.
