Obverse description Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Trajan Decius facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the rear, a common provincial variant formula. The imperial effigy is presented with military attributes reflecting his role as commander. The encircling Greek legend runs along the outer border of the flan, naming the emperor with his full titulature. The coin exhibits heavy encrustation consistent with extended burial, and a small central test hole is visible in the field.
