| Obverse description | Confronted busts: laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Septimius Severus to right, seen from rear, facing the draped bust of Julia Domna to left. The two imperial effigies are rendered in a facing-bust composition characteristic of provincial civic bronzes of the Severan period, with the emperor's military attire contrasting with the empress's civil drapery. The obverse legend names both rulers across the field. |
