| Reverse description | Two Tychai standing facing one another in a symmetrical composition, each holding a long sceptre in the left hand and clasping the other's right hand in a gesture of concord (Homonoia). The scene symbolises the civic alliance between the communities of the Salenans and Baginians, a type well attested in the homonoia coinage of western Asia Minor under the Severan dynasty. The reverse legend names the presiding magistrate and identifies the two civic entities united in this honorific issue. |
