| Reverse description | The reverse field contains a multi-line Greek inscription arranged in five or six horizontal lines, fully enclosed within a prominent laurel wreath tied at the base with a ribbon bow. The outer border carries a continuous circular legend in Greek identifying the magistrate and the occasion. The wreath itself is rendered with careful detail, with berries visible at intervals along the branches. The overall design commemorates the first games of the Koinon of Asia held at Smyrna under the strategos Marcus Aurelius Publius Proclianus. |
