Mytilene, the principal city of Lesbos, struck provincial bronze under the governor Dionysios during the co-reign of Marcus Aurelius and Commodus — the magistrate's name rendered in the nominative as strategos, the office through which Rome administered civic coinage in the Pergamene conventus.
