Reverse description The Tyche of Thyatira and the Amazon Smyrna stand facing one another in the field, clasping right hands in a gesture of homonoia (concord). Both figures are rendered in full-length drapery; Tyche likely bears her characteristic mural crown and attributes, while the Amazon is depicted in her traditional guise. The scene symbolises the official alliance and concordia between the cities of Thyatira and Smyrna. The multi-line reverse legend, naming the local magistrate Titus Fabius Alfenus Apollinarius, is distributed in the field and around the periphery.
